Sgt Timothy I'Anson Dee RAFVR (1459666).

Timothy I-Anson Dee was born in the Glanford Brigg district of Lincolnshire in 1923, he was the son of Ernest and Annie Dee of Croxton, Lincolnshire. Little is known about his life before he enlisted into the RAFVR, he trained as a navigator and after completing his training was posted to 408 Squadron with the rest of his crew in September 1943. He was killed as a result of the accident to Lancaster DS737 on 16th December 1943, he was twenty years old.

Timothy Dee's body was buried by private family arrangements in the small churchyard in Croxton, North Lincolnshire. His parents also paid for a memorial stained glass window in the church and for a small plaque to be placed near it in 1946. I visited the church in April 2005 but the church was locked so I was unable to photograph it for inclusion on this website.
