Almost nothing is known of Lloyd Yeo other than he was from Lemburg, Saskatchewan, Canada and the son of Mr and Mrs W.A. Yeo. It is believed that he was the mid-upper gunner in Lancaster DS737 when it crashed on 16th December 1943 and sustained serious injuries. It is likely that he was taken to the Friarage Hospital in
Northallerton after the accident and made some form of recovery and was able to return home.
Searching the internet there was a Lloyd John Yeo who was born on 3rd September 1920 in Summerside, Prince Edward Island and who died in Vancouver on 21st April 1954 and is buried in Mountain View Cemetery, Vancouver. He could well be the same person as involved in the accident to Lancaster DS737 in December 1943.
