Lloyd Yeo was born on 3rd September 1920 in Summerside, Prince Edward Island and was the son of William Arthur and Daisy Adeline (nee Rudge) Yeo. He was baptised at Port Hill in March 1922 at the same time as his younger sister. It is believed that he was the mid-upper gunner in Lancaster DS737 when it crashed on 16th December 1943 at Murton and sustained serious injuries. It is likely that he was taken to the Friarage Hospital in Northallerton after the accident. At the time of this incident at Murton in December 1943 the casualty notification states that his mother was living at Lemburg, Saskatchewan, Canada. He died in Vancouver on 21st April 1954 and is buried in Mountain View Cemetery, Vancouver. His gravestone makes reference to his RCAF service.
