Oxford N4566 near Bircotes airfield.

On 23rd June 1943 the pilot of this aircraft was undertaking a training flight when an engine failed, the aircraft lost height, struck a tree and crashed near Bircotes airfield. The crash site may well be just outside Yorkshire but as the location of the site is not yet known I have included it in this list.
