Possibly on 18th October 1942 this aircraft the pilot's escape hatch blew off as the aircraft was about to land at Pocklington airfield, the pilot was distracted when the aircraft touched down and the aircraft entered a swing which was not corrected before the undercarriage collasped. The same thing happened to this aircraft ten days later which could suggest one of the dates is incorrect. I add both incidents until this is confirmed.
