Unidentified Oxford possibly at Leconfield airfield.

On 19th August 1942 this unidentified aircraft was parked with it's engines running when a member of ground crew walked into a rotating propeller and was seriously injured. He was taken to the Fulwood Head Hospital at Sheffield where he died. He was buried in Cambridge on 27th August 1942. Mention of this incident was found in the 15 (P)AFU Operation Record Book, but the location is not stated for the accident. The ORB encompasses Leconfield and it's satellites of Kirmington, Caistor and Acaster Malbis airfields. The presumption is that it occurred at Leconfield but it could have been at one of the others.
