Blenheim Z6147 at Church Fenton airfield.

On the 19th of September 1941 the pilot of this aircraft was undertaking a night flying exercise and flew in too low on a night landing, the aircraft hit the perimeter hedge and then the aerial of the fire tender before striking the ground in the undershoot area. The aircraft was wrecked but the trainee pilot survived.
