Tiger Moth T7221 at Brough airfield.
On 7th April 1941 this aircraft collided with Tiger Moth BB741 while both aircraft were in the airfield circuit and waiting to land. This aircraft crashed sadly killing the trainee pilot. His death is listed as having occurring on 8th April 1941 suggesting that he died of his injuries although the accident records state that he was killed rather than being serious injured. The other aircraft was landed safely at base and was repaired.

Tiger Moth T7221 was built to contract 20916/39 by The Morris Motor Co. Ltd. at Cowley and was awaiting collection in December 1940 and was taken
on charge by 4 EFTS at Brough in early 1941. Cat.E2/FA damage was recorded after the accident recorded above.
