Blenheim T2228 near Huggate, Yorkshire Wolds.

On the 8th of September 1941 this aircraft flew into high ground near Mill Farm, Huggate at 01.32hrs. The pilot was believed to have lost control while flying in poor visibilty during a training flight. Sadly the pilot was killed as a result of this accident.

Cedric Woolgar attended Birmingham University and is commemerated on the university war memorial there.
