Tiger Moth N9243 at Brough airfield.

On the 18th of December 1940 this aircraft was struck off charge along with two others at Brough. This would probably be as a result of damage sustained on 6th December when a strong gale is known to have damaged a number of aircraft at Brough and Doncaster. It is highly likely that it took the assessors some time to come to Brough and assess these aircraft and when they did they wrote them off.
