On 19th September 1939 this unidentified Anson was struck by Anson K8825 on the ground at Thornaby airfield and both aircraft sustained slight damage which was later repaired. There is no record of any other Anson being damaged on this date in more modern books listing serial number histories suggesting the aircraft only suffered very minor damage, possibly Cat.M.
