Sopwith Camel F4010 at Marske.

On 18th January 1919 this aircraft was undertaking a trainng flight around the area of Marske airfield with No.2 Fighting School. As the aircraft came in to land at Marske it was turned but lost speed, stalled and crashed sadly killing the pilot.

Pilot - 2nd Leslie George Woolhouse RAF, aged 27, of Parson's Green, Fulham. Buried Fulham Palace Road Cemetery, London. Now commemorated on a special memorial at Fulham Palace Road Cemetery, London.
