Airco DH.4 B5515 at Catterick aerodrome.
At 08.00hrs on 2nd July 1918 a fitter was swinging the propeller of this 127 Squadron aeroplane at Catterick aerodrome when the engine fired. The propeller spun around and struck him on the shoulder and arm but his injuries were listed on his casualty file as being only slight. He was admitted to Catterick Military Hospital. It has to be connected to his injury but he subsequently died of pneumonia on 7th July 1918.
