On the 28th June 1946 the two aircrew in this aircraft were undertaking a training flight when it
dived into the ground out of control from 2000 feet near Brawith, Thirsk and exploded. Sadly the crew of two
were killed. A propeller from this aircraft is still said to exist locally and is held by a local farmer.
