Andreasson BA-4B G-YPSY at Bagby airfield, Thirsk.

On 31st August 1993 this aircraft was taking off from Bagby airfield at 18.05hrs when it drifted to the left of the narrow take-off strip with a wind blowing. Fearing he was getting too close to straw bales in the adjoining field the pilot applied the brakes but the aircraft tipped up onto its nose and overturned. The aircraft was re-built and is still flying.

Pilot -Possibly its owner, Mr Colin Briggs, of Brafferton, Yorkshire. Uninjured.
