Unidentified aircraft near Cayton Bay, Scarborough.

On the morning of 25th January 1937 a large two-seater RAF aircraft force landed in a stubble field at the Filey side of Cayton Bay. Fog was in area at the time and this was put down for the reason for the landing. The aircraft was not damaged nor it's crew of two injured. It took off in the afternoon when the fog lifted.
