Rans S6-ES G-BYOU at Baxby Manor, Husthwaite.

On 29th June 2006, the same day as the fatal incident at Thirkleby Hall, another aircraft is believed to have been slightly damaged when it struck a hedge whilst coming into land at 19.00hrs at Baxby Manor airstrip near Hustwaite. On landing the nose wheel collapsed damaging the propellers, forward fuselage and engine. The pilot was uninjured and he exited the aircraft.
