Glider near Sutton Bank.
On 16th August 1937 a glider crashed near Sutton Bank killing its pilot but no further details about the incident are known.
Pilot - Mr Eric Loudon Maule, of Felixstowe. Killed.
Eric Maule was probably born in the West Ham area of London in 1912 but was living in the Ipswich area at the time of his death as he was a Club Secretary at Ipswich Aerodrome prior to his death.
