Aircraft accidents on the North Yorkshire Moors.

Glider near Sutton Bank.

On the 16th of August 1937 a glider crashed near Sutton Bank killing its pilot.

Pilot - Mr Eric Loudon Maule, of Felixstowe. Killed.

Nothing more is yet known with regard this and many of the gliding incidents shown on this website. If anyone can add any details I would very much like to hear from you.

The pilot was Club Secretary of Ipswich & District Pou Club at Ipswich Aerodrome prior to his death.
