The Seaking at Marske.
On 22nd October 2006 an RAF Sea King helicopter was in the process of rescuing a diver from the North Sea off Seahouses
and transporting him to hopsital in Hull. He was suffering from the bends and the Hull hospital has the equipment needed for
such incidents. The helicopter pilot was forced to make a landing at Marske at 13.00hrs, possibly due to engine problems.
The diver was taken to hospital by road. The helicopter was repaired on site and took off around 17.30hrs on Sunday 28th October 2006.
