Hudson T9283 was built by Lockheed-Vega at Burbank, California and purchased without contract by the B.P.C. It was
delivered to the UK by sea, arriving in July 1940 and after assembly and acceptance at MU it was issued to 206 Squadron at Bircham Newton
in late 1940. It later moved to 6 (c)OTU at Thornaby on an unknown date and is believed to have passed to 1 (c)OTU when 6 (c) OTU left Thornaby in March 1943. It sustained Cat.E2/FA damage in the accident at Thornaby in June of that year.
