On 27th April 1937 this new aircraft overshot on landing at Thornaby airfield, the pilot braked and the aircraft
overturned,

Audax K8315 was built to contract 401786/35 by A.V. Roe Ltd at Chadderton and delivered to 9 FTS on 8th April 1937.
It sustained Cat.R/FA damage as a result of the incident above at Thornaby and was repaired and returned to service.
On 13th October 1938 it sustained another Cat.R/FA accident and again it was repaired but suffered a final accident
on 13th May 1940. Cat.W/FA damage was recorded and it was then struck off charge later the same month.
