On the 18th of May 1937 this aircraft lost power and the pilot was required to make a forced landing, presumed near Thornaby. He overshot this landing and collided with a hedge damaging the aircraft. Cat R/FA damage being sustained.

The aircraft was bbuilt to contract 410420/35 By Vickers Ltd at Weybridge and delivered to 9 FTS on the 17th March 1936. Following the accident detailed above it was repaired and returned to service. It was finally written of Cat W/FA on the 8th June 1940, from when it became an instructional airframe carrying the code 2010M.
