On 29th June 1918 this aircraft struck a member of ground crew on landing at Redcar, the groundcrew member was sadly killed in the accident.
No other details are known other than the aircraft was still at Redcar in July 1918.

Yorkshire.
Avro 504 C4383 was built by A V Roe at Hamble and was tranferred to the RNAS on 7th December 1917 when it was
delivered to RNAS Cranwell. It suffered a Cat.R/FA accident there on 8th March 1918. Following repair it suffered
a further Cat.R/FA accident on 23rd June 1918, although deemed beyond repair it was rebuilt and issued to Redcar
at an unknown date. Days later it was involved in this accident sustaining very little Cat.U/FA damage.
