Hudson AM600 was built by Lockheed-Vega at Burbank, California and purchased without contract by the B.P.C. It was
delivered to the UK by sea, arriving in May 1941. After assembly and acceptance at MU it was issued to 1 (c)OTU at Silloth on
an unknown date. It was transferred with the unit to Thornaby in March 1943. Cat.E2/FA damage was recorded after assessment following this accident at Thornaby listed above.
