On the 24th of June 1916 this aircraft was damaged in a forced landing at Redcar, Cat W/FA
damage being sustained. The aircraft had a short life, it was built by Brush EE Co Ltd at Loughborough
and was only delivered to RNAS Redcar on 14th May 1916. Following this accident it was deleted from stock
on the 14th of July 1916.

Flt Sub Lt Ellis Reid DSC lost his life on 28 July 1917 serving with 10 (naval) Sqdn, he is
commemerated on the Arras Flying Services Memorial. CWGC list nothing else about him.
