On the 12th of October 1916 this aircraft was wrecked in a landing accident at Redcar. The aicraft had been built by Le Crotoy in France and delivered to RNAS Eastchurch on 26th June 1915. It was converted to a dual control machine on the 21st of July 1915. It had been delivered up to RNAS Redcar on the 2nd of March 1916 before suffering a Cat R/FA accident in September 1916 (detailed on this website). It was repaired and then crashed again on 12th October 1916 and was deleted on 25th October 1916.
