Caudron GIII 3280 at Redcar.

On 12th October 1916 this aircraft was wrecked in a landing accident at Redcar. No further details are known.

Caudron 3280 was built by Le Crotoy in France and delivered to RNAS Eastchurch on 26th June 1915. It was converted to a dual control machine on 21st July 1915. It was delivered to RNAS Redcar on 2nd March 1916 before suffering a accident in September 1916 (detailed on this website). It was repaired and then crashed again on 12th October 1916, as stated above, and was deleted on 25th October 1916.
