On 1st September 1917 this aircraft sustained damage to it's fuselage in an accident at Redcar.
Pilot - Name unknown.
Avro 504 2934 was built by S.E. Saunder Ltd for the RFC and transferred direct from the RFC to RNAS Redcar on the 21st of May 1916.
It was damaged at Redcar in an accident in July 1917 (detailed on this website) and repaired. Following this second accident in September 1917
there is no record of a repair being done before the surveyers made their visit to Redcar on 7th December 1917. It was deleted from stock
with effect of 14th December 1917, deemed as "wrecked".
