Avro 504 1486 was built by Brush EE co Ltd of Loughborough and delivered to Redcar on 13th March 1916, it was tested and accepted there on
31st March 1916. On 16th April 1916 it crashed on landing at Redcar and was later repaired. It sustained the accident detailed above on
October 1916 and was again repaired. It then sustained damage in a third accident on 24th January 1917 and was badly damaged. This damage was
severe enough for it to be written off. It was finally deleted from stock on 14th February 1917.
