On the 15th of May 1992 this glider was being winch launched when the canopy opened. The hinge was broken and the rear
perspex shattered. The canopy was probably unlocked or only partly locked at the time.
Pilot - Unknown, ok.
I have yet to locate the site of where the glider came down though it is doubtful that there will be any sign of it.
