On the 2nd of October 2006 this glider was in collision with another glider near the Yorkshire Gliding Club site at Sutton Bank, the pilot of this glider was able to bale out and parachuted to safety, the pilot of the other glider did not get out and was sadly killed when it crashed towards the bottom of Sutton Bank.
