Olympia BGA537 glider at Sutton Bank.
On 16th October 1970 this glider flew into the cliff face at Sutton Bank and the pilot is believed to have been killed.
Nothing further is yet known.

This glider was given it's certificate of airworthiness in September 1947. It was owned by the North Downs Gliding Trust Limited from 8th April 1949 to 10th January
1964 and flew from Redhill when it was withdrawn from use. After this date it is believed that it was converted to a Mk2 variant and registered as G-ALKA but whether
this was before the accident at Sutton Bank is not known.
