Almost nothing is known of Lloyd Yeo other than he was from Lemburg, Saskatchewan, Canada and the son of Mr and Mrs W.A. Yeo. It is believed that he was the mid-upper gunner in Lancaster DS737 when it crashed on 16th December 1943 and sustained serious injuries. It is likely that he was taken to the Friarage Hospital in
Northallerton after the accident and made some form of recovery and was able to return home.
